Proxies
Proxies are gateways in a computer network. To configure the proxy on a LearnPad, enter the details below and scan the QrKey.
File Copy
Copy files or folders around on LearnPad. The folders can be specified absolutely, for example /mnt/sdcard/photos, or by using an alias such as <usb>. An alias can also be concatenated with subfolder information, for example <usb>/photos.
Common examples include:
These QrKeys should be used with care as incorrectly specified destinations could overwrite valuable data. The full set of aliases is: <pictures>, <music>, <movies>, <photos>, <username>, <date>, <time>, <device> (device name), <storage> (the default storage drive), <homedrive> (the network home folder if the student is logged in), <usb>, and <sdcard>.
It is also possible to copy files to a network share by using the name of the network share as the alias, for example <myshare>. Subfolder information can be appended to the share in the same way as described for aliases above.
Website
Website QrKeys will take you straight to the specified website as long as it has already been approved.
Custom
Custom QrKeys hide text in the pattern that is only revealed when the QrKey is scanned by LearnPad. These could be the answers to a question, a joke, or clues on a treasure hunt.
